Tila

  Tila is commonly known as Gingely seed. The plant have numerous medicinal properties and is used in alleviating many diseases. The herb have oil content in it and provides the body unctuousness hence the name given. Varun Ram Raj of Ayurvedatarian uses the herb Tila in conditions involving the vitiation of Vata dosha as it alleviates Vata. The herb is used to treat conditions like Arthritis , Wound, Hair fall etc. Tila is also used as a Hypotensive , Hepatoprotective agent etc as it contains Phytoconstituents like sesamolinol, sesamol etc.

Tablet - 2 tablets twice daily or as per the advice of the Ayurveda doctor

Morphology :

An annual herb with erect stem. Leaves are oblong. Inflorescence is cymose. Fruits are capsule. Flowers are pinkish white.
