Devadaru

    Devadaru is a large evergreen tree that mainly grows in Himalayan region. The  tree is commonly known as Cedar and have many therapeutic uses. According to Ayurvedic textbooks Devadaru is considered as the best among trees owing to it’s medicinal values. Dr.Varun Ram Raj of Ayurvedatarian uses the herb Devadaru for the treatment diseases caused by the vitiation of Vata Kapha doshas as the herb is Vata Kapha samaka it it’s action. Devadaru is used to treat numerous diseases including Filariasis, Cough etc. Nowadays it’s also used as an anticonvulsant, antibacterial and carminative.

Oil (Taila)- 20 drops

Tablet - 2 tablets twice daily or as per the advice of the Ayurveda doctor

Morphology :
